Ryan's interview with CNN's Barbara Starr aired last night at the end of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" in their "Heroes" segment. It's always interesting to see what few statements, out of an hour long interview, they will take and show to the world. But we think it turned out pretty good. Check it out here and let us know what you think.

I think Ryan has had more than 15 minutes of fame this past year! However, CNN did a good job of capturing his story in just a few minutes. Ryan expressed himself well and seemed very relaxed, just like he was when we were sitting around the table in San Antonio. We are very proud of this "Hero!"
We were able to DVR it and after we watched it this morning, Mike looks over at me and says "Ryan's famous now." They did a great job, we enjoyed watching it.
What a great segment! They really did a great job at telling the story and Ryan seemed so calm...I like the part at the beginning when Ryan is running and you can see Pam videotaping too!
That is great! The internet is a wonderful tool to be able to share this around. When I called Mom to tell her about it, she'd already watched it multiple times!
It doesn't suprise me that they had to edit Ryan down from over an hour. ;)
We're very proud of you!
John and I just saw the segement and thought it was great. Ryan did a great job. We have a celebrity in the family. We are both so proud of him. When Ryan was talking about Noah's birth it brought a tear to my eye. That was such an emotional moment that I was blessed to experience.
Ryan you are the man!
Great job, Ryan. You seemed so cool and relaxed in front of the camera. You really are an amazing story. You are a hero... and not because your helicopter was bombed, but because you choose to overcome such adversity. I was excited to see you running with your new leg. And I was especially proud that you specifically mentioned Pam's daily love and support. You guys have an amazing love. What a beautiful marriage the two of you have created.
Wow, what an awesome job Ryan did on his interview. I'm so glad I was finally able to view it. I'm proud to be able to say that I know such a courageous young man as Ryan. May the Lord continue to bless your precious family.
